About the RoleThe One Group is seeking a Senior Product Owner to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering digital solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, working closely with cross-functional teams to execute the product roadmap, and ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of businesses today.
Key Responsibilities- Product Vision and Roadmap: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap, aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, to gather requirements, set priorities, and ensure alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
- Product Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the development team is focused on the most valuable features and enhancements.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
- Business Alignment: Collaborate with the wider business and SMEs to ensure alignment in the delivery of products and the go-to-market strategy.
- Market Research: Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Product Performance: Track and analyze product performance metrics, using insights to inform future development and enhancements.
- Agile Methodologies: Champion Agile methodologies within the team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of product increments.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Product Expertise: 5+ years in a Product Owner role
- B2B Experience: A strong focus on B2B software or applications
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, driving projects forward with pace and determination
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Technical Acumen: A solid understanding of software development processes, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently, taking ownership of projects from concept to completion
