About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Advocate to join our team at Solace Women's Aid. As a Specialist Advocate, you will play a critical role in supporting women who have experienced violence and abuse, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to rebuild their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assertive outreach casework to support women in their assigned borough
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the unique needs of each woman
  • Work closely with multi-agency partners to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety planning with women at high risk
  • Provide emotional support and advocacy to women experiencing severe and multiple disadvantage
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in working with women who have experienced violence and abuse. You will have a sound working knowledge of the practical, emotional, social, and economic issues facing women and children affected by domestic abuse. You will also have experience of risk assessment, risk management, and safety planning, as well as multi-agency partnership working.
