Job Title: Domestic Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Domestic Gas Engineer to join our team at THRIVESW LIMITED. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and installation of heating systems across various domestic and commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough Gas Safety inspections and perform servicing of gas appliances in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
  • Provide prompt and effective reactive maintenance for a range of boilers and heating systems.
  • Adhere strictly to Health & Safety procedures and relevant industry standards, including performing risk assessments and ensuring all work complies with company protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime when needed and participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota to meet customer expectations.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified in domestic heating systems, with expertise in fault-finding and central heating controls.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Essential qualifications include CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, and G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems certification.
  • Knowledge of system controls, basic electrics, and heating wiring.
  • IT literacy for completing work-related documentation, possibly using an iPad.
  • Clean driving license.
Desirable Skills:
  • OFTEC qualifications (OFT10-101, OFT10-105E, and OFT10-600a).
  • Electrical qualifications, such as 17th/18th Edition or Part P, would be advantageous.
