Teaching Mathematics at South Staffordshire College

We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of Mathematics to join our progressive and forward-thinking team. As a Mathematics Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students, helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to students aged 16-18 and adults
  • Develop and implement a carefully sequenced curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners
  • Work closely with the English and Maths Coordinator and Head of Department to drive curriculum development and improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
  • Related degree and a full teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS)
  • Experience of teaching Mathematics in the FE or Schools' sector
  • Ability to adapt teaching and learning pedagogy to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
