Financial Operations Manager

About the Role:
The Financial Controller will be responsible for the management and control of the financial operations of the UK Telecoms Finance team businesses. This role will work closely with the Head of Finance and the rest of the finance team to report and take responsibility for all finance-related workflows and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and supervision of the day-to-day finance operations.
- Manage, mentor and motivate the UK finance team of 8 people.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations review and KPI development.
- Summarise findings/actions to the Head of Finance.
- Finance business partner for UK Telecoms Finance to other departments.
- Finance oversight and challenge on CRM system data and processes.
- Streamline and improve all operations and accounting systems.
- Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
- Lead finance team input and review of budgets and reforecasts.
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects and restructuring initiatives.
- Liaise with group finance on year-end audit & tax queries, ensuring finance team delivers all required information.
Requirements:
- Experience in Microsoft Excel.
