Senior Payroll Specialist

Gleeson Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Payroller to join their team on a maternity cover basis for nine months. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a knowledgeable and experienced team of six, supporting the all-rounder payroll function.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and process end-to-end payroll for monthly and four-weekly payment runs.
- Oversee all aspects of the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Resolve payroll queries, providing detailed explanations to employees and stakeholders.
- Support auditing by providing payroll details on request.
- Maintain communication with employees and stakeholders, ensuring seamless payroll operations.
- Ensure the payroll and HR system are up-to-date with accurate information.
- Stay up-to-date with legislation changes and ensure compliance.
- Previous experience in payroll, ideally with end-to-end processing knowledge.
- Experience handling payroll queries and providing detailed explanations.
- Strong communication and written communication skills, prioritizing customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a passion for payroll and its intricacies.
- Immediate availability or a short notice period, as this role is expected to start soon.
