As part of Service Care Solutions Ltd, we strive to deliver exceptional private drug and alcohol recovery services.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Nurse to lead our team at the Detox centre, catering to individuals battling addiction privately.

Main Responsibilities
  1. To work closely with the assessment and admissions team in determining suitable treatment candidates.
  2. Support the Head of Clinical Care in implementing the Clinical Team Strategic Plan.
  3. Act as deputy to the HoD when necessary.
  4. The senior nurse will oversee the comprehensive induction training of new nurses and clinical wellbeing staff, ensuring all standard operating procedures are fully understood and executed, requisite training is completed, and all competencies are signed off.
  5. Collaboration with the Head of Clinical Care to develop and refine processes and systems, providing thorough training to the team to ensure cohesive and consistent delivery of clinical care.
  6. Support guests in completing risk assessments and care plans utilising a person-centred approach.
  7. Deliver care that prioritises equality, diversity, and dignity.
  8. Document any safeguarding concerns and communicate with the head nurse and registered manager.
  9. Ensure the recovery philosophy of abstinence remains a collective goal of treatment.
  10. Establish a therapeutic environment conducive to healing.
  11. Develop risk assessments and care plans tailored to individual needs.
  12. Respond to guest behaviours, which may include relapse, self-harm, or potential medical emergencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Experience in guiding wellbeing guides and delegating clinical tasks.
  2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  3. A compassionate leader with experience in a management position (equivalent band 6 or above), preferably in diverse clinical settings.
  4. Expertise in crafting and managing care plans.
  5. Ability to thrive in a dynamic business environment.
  6. Ideal candidates will have some knowledge of the addiction treatment sector, though not essential.

Expected Salary: £62,000 per annum.
