About the Role:
As a Disability Assessor (Paramedic) with Medacs Healthcare, you will utilize your clinical expertise to assess, discuss, and create detailed reports on how individuals' conditions impact daily living. You will conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments to gather information and provide recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong Report Writing and Communication Skills: Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive reports, ensuring clear and concise communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Organisation and Time Management: Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Typing Proficiency and IT System Navigation: Demonstrate proficiency in typing and navigate various IT systems to access and update client information.
- Commitment to Integrity and Quality: Uphold the highest standards of integrity and deliver exceptional service to clients and stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current and Unrestricted HCPC Registration: Possess current and unrestricted registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Registered Paramedic: Hold a valid registration as a paramedic.
- We also welcome applications from:
- NMC Registered Nurses (RN), Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN), and Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD):
- HCPC Registered Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists:
- Minimum 1-year Post-Registration UK Experience: Possess a minimum of 1 year of post-registration experience in the UK, either in the NHS or private healthcare providers.
