Job Title: Mechanical Fitter - Rail Depot Maintenance

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at a busy rail depot in East London. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical overhauls, including stripping and refitting, on modern EMU stock.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work from written instructions and engineering drawings to complete modifications on EMU stock
* Removal and refitting of interiors and body sides
* Replacement of mechanical components to correspond to engineering drawings

Person Specification:

* Highly self-motivated individual with a strong attention to detail
* Ability to work from written instructions and engineering drawings
* Experience in mechanical overhaul and maintenance
