Role Overview

As a Sales Assistant at the British Heart Foundation, you will be at the heart of our retail operation. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will work as part of a team to deliver a first-class customer service experience, engaging with customers, promoting our charity's mission, and collaborating with our E-Commerce team to maximize online sales.

Key Responsibilities

* Engage with customers, providing exceptional service and promoting our charity's mission
* Organize and merchandise donated stock creatively to maximize sales potential
* Collaborate with our E-Commerce team to maximize online sales
* As a Keyholder, you will be the go-to person when there is not a manager on duty, keeping the store running and ensuring our customers have a great experience

Requirements

* Previous retail experience is not essential, but you will need to be confident within a team environment and comfortable guiding the activity of volunteers on the shop floor
* You will be able to work well under pressure and on your own initiative in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
* You will have attention to detail in everything you do and be positive, creative, confident, customer service-focused, and passionate about sustainability
* You will be comfortable with technology, able to use a till, PC, smartphone, and email with ease
