Brook Street UK Careers is currently seeking a highly skilled and organised individual to fill the role of Court Administrative Assistant in Hendon.

This is a full-time temporary position for an ongoing 6 months with a view to extending the contract further. The successful candidate will be working on a weekly rota basis at both Willesden & Hendon Magistrates court and Harrow Crown Court.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing courts for sitting and closing them at the end of the day
  • Maintaining clean and tidy courtrooms throughout the day
  • Working with judges to prepare documents for cases, including those held on Microsoft Teams
  • Processing work and court clerking duties
  • Scanning documents and transferring files
  • Liaising with members of the judiciary
  • Uploading documents onto electronic systems and databases
  • Contacting relevant parties, scheduling, serving court documents, executing warrants, collecting fines and fees, etc.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
