Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to lead and drive innovative cloud solutions that support our company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge cloud solutions, aligning with our company's strategic goals.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Develop proof-of-concept projects to explore new technologies and assess their viability for our company's needs.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance in the development of cloud-native applications, microservices, and APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure the seamless integration of cloud solutions into existing systems.
  • Serve as a Microsoft Azure/AWS technical resource in teams' efforts to determine the needs of our clients' businesses that will simplify and automate the applications as well as make them more efficient.
  • Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement and refine DevOps practices to enhance automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) methodologies.
  • Lead incident response and problem resolution efforts for cloud operations, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery.
  • Mentor and coach junior technologists and engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in software development and design using modern web technologies and supporting toolsets, including source control, static code analysis, and CI/CD tooling.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure as code development, with the ability to lead architecture and technology evaluations and decisions.
  • Strong enterprise software development experience, preferably with C#.NET.
  • Expertise in PowerShell, Bash, and/or Node JS scripting.
  • Knowledge of API development, REST, microservices, and serverless architectures.
  • Knowledge and experience of operational support, software development, and deployment methodologies and principles.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, able to convey information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Attention to detail, diligent, and tenacious.
  • Excellent analysis and dissemination skills.
  • High degree of personal motivation and ability to self-manage.
  • Maintains and develops relevant industry and technology knowledge.
