Job Title: Nuclear Safety Case Manager

We're looking for a Safety Case Manager (Environment) to provide advice to the Capenhurst businesses on the environmental requirements of safety cases. You will be responsible for ensuring that environmental assessments (including Environmental Aspects and Environment Files) are delivered, implemented, adopted, and maintained as required to support modifications, the requirements of our LC15 and CR10 arrangements (nuclear and COMAH), and the ISO 14001 certified management system.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver, implement, adopt, and maintain fit for purpose Environmental Assessments to support Capenhurst operations.
  2. Act as the Agent of the Safety Case Owner (for their appointed area(s)) for environmental justifications through the Capenhurst Safety Case Governance Process.
  3. Work collaboratively with the wider Design Authority, Project Delivery Organisation, UTD Group Projects, and Safety Case Process Owners (or nominated deputies) to inform updates and revisions to the Capenhurst Safety Case Framework.
  4. Maintain expert knowledge of the UK Regulatory framework and the implications for UK Licensees.
