About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ALM Test Manager to join our team at Barclays Bank. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the testing function for medium to large multi-year transformation programmes in the Banking and Finance domain.
  • Coordinate and work with multi-location delivery teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage stakeholders and deal with accountable executives at Director/Managing Director level.
  • Work in a Centre of Excellence (CoE) based federated Technology delivery model.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in leading testing functions for medium to large multi-year transformation programmes in Banking and Finance.
  • Experience in coordinating and working with multi-location delivery teams.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and dealing with accountable executives at Director/Managing Director level.
  • Experience in working in a Centre of Excellence (CoE) based federated Technology delivery model.
  • Preferred qualifications: Degree in a numerate subject (e.g. maths, computer science etc).
  • Prior working experience in Treasury/Finance domains.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
