Job Overview

This exciting opportunity exists within the Older Persons' Housing Team at Perth and Kinross Council, focusing on supporting older adults in their tenancies in sheltered housing. As a Housing Support Specialist, you will work as part of a large team, delivering high-quality services and collaborating with internal and external agencies.

You will spend most of your time working in sheltered or retirement sites throughout the Perth and Kinross area, using your skills to deliver effective support and advice to individuals. Your ability to work independently and manage routine tasks will be essential in meeting the needs of tenants and the objectives of our service.

We require a person-centered and enthusiastic individual who can adapt to new situations and prioritize the needs of others. An SVQ2 in Social Services and Health Care is necessary, along with registration with the Scottish Social Services Council within three months. A valid driving license and previous experience in relevant fields are also essential.
