About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Data Privacy Specialist to join our team. As a Data Privacy Specialist, you will work closely with our clients to understand their data protection and privacy needs and develop tailored solutions to address these challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in delivering data privacy projects, including conducting risk assessments, developing data protection policies, and implementing compliance programs.
- Act as a subject matter expert on data protection and privacy laws, including the GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing expert advice on data protection and privacy matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, IT, and security, to ensure effective data protection and privacy practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and privacy, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Proven experience in delivering data protection and privacy projects, with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate data protection and privacy risks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications, such as CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/E, CISM, CISSP, and/or HCISSP, are desirable.
