About This Role


We are seeking an experienced Application Services Analyst to join our IT team in a full-time capacity.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage defined applications by installing, configuring, upgrading, administering, monitoring, and maintaining them to ensure they are correct, consistent, and available at all required times.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to assist other teams in input into designs, test plans, and confirm that solutions developed meet acceptance criteria.
  • Assess and analyze release components, carry out early life support activities, and provide support advice to initial users.
  • Provide 2nd line support for assigned applications, including minor upgrades, fixes, and minor enhancements as required.
  • Investigate all assigned incidents to root cause, manage the escalation to third line support teams, and maintain management of escalated incidents to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.
  • Use application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics, and create reports.
  • Support the identification and management of risks, and coordinate the implementation of fixes or small-scale enhancements to the applications.

Qualifications and Experience



  • A degree in IT or a relevant business topic is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL principles, FTP, SFTP, and UNIX is required.
