Job Title: Loss Prevention Officer

Next is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Officer to join our dynamic team at our Service Centre in Severn Beach, Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor CCTV, fire, and intruder alarm systems to ensure warehouse security at all times.
  • Conduct searches of people and vehicles to deter acts of theft and prevent loss of stock.
  • Deal with incidents in a calm and professional manner, completing detailed reports and statements as required.
  • Communicate security risks and incidents to the Loss Prevention Manager.

About You:

  • You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build and maintain great working relationships with visitors, management, and employees.
  • You will demonstrate a can-do attitude and initiative in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • You will be able to remain calm under pressure and deal with potentially difficult situations involving conflict.

Requirements:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Sound knowledge of Word, Excel, and Google suites.
  • Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate required.
  • First Aid training required.
