About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Practitioner to join our Haematology and Lymphoma Research teams at The Christie NHS FT. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in managing a varied portfolio of oncology studies, from early to later phase clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary contact point for clinical trial patients and advise healthcare professionals on trial protocols.
  • Recruit, consent, and support patients and carers in clinical trials, ensuring optimal patient care and adherence to trial protocols.
  • Collect and process research samples, maintain accurate data, and ensure compliance with GCP guidelines and EU directives.
  • Work closely with the research clinical team, investigators, and other departments to overcome recruitment barriers and ensure trial success.
  • Manage study site files, maintain patient records, and ensure all trial activities are recorded in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Scientific degree or relevant experience in scientific and medical research.
  • Experience in clinical trials administration, data management, or project coordination.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • IT literacy and attention to detail.
