Product Development Specialist

Our client, a leading international FMCG company, is seeking a Product Development Specialist to support their talented R & D team. The successful candidate will work on product formulations and product performance from conception through to product launch in the market.

The Product Development Specialist will assist the R & D team with the development process from lab through to scale up and delivery onto the plant, working closely with other key operational team members from Lab, Process, Purchasing, Production, Engineering, QA, and SHE.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in storage stability testing and be able to take part in continuous improvement initiatives within the company to ensure rationalisation of raw materials and packaging.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting the R & D team with the development process from lab through to scale up and delivery onto the plant

Taking part in continuous improvement initiatives within the company to ensure rationalisation of raw materials and packaging

Providing storage stability testing expertise

Supporting new product development team members to support evolving business needs
