The Role

You will work on-site at our Barnsley location, reporting to our Redditch Depot. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and service Komatsu plant machinery, ensuring safe working practices and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and service Komatsu plant machinery, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
  • Ensure all work is completed to plan, adhering to company and site procedures.
  • Perform walk-around inspections to identify any issues or required parts.
  • Keep customers and supervisors informed of estimated arrival times and progress.
  • Register arrivals on-site and complete site inductions as required.
  • Complete dynamic risk assessments and method statements before commencing work.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience working with heavy plant and machinery.
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • H&S training in PPE awareness and hand tools.
  • Fully qualified with NVQ level 2 in plant maintenance or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure.
