As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) teaching assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children with special needs in a 1:1 setting. This rewarding role requires patience, understanding, and a calm approach to teaching practice.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Individual Support: Provide individual support to students with SEN, focusing on their academic and social development.
  2. Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, other teaching assistants, and senior leadership to ensure students' progress and needs are met.
  3. Education Healthcare Plans: Adhere to established educational healthcare plans for each student.
  4. Communication: Communicate effectively with parents and school leaders regarding student progress.
  5. Qualifications: Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one.
