Job Description for Account Manager at WALT Labs

The Account Manager is a key role at WALT Labs, responsible for finding business opportunities and managing customer relationships. This position plays a critical part in preserving and expanding our customer base.

We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a deep understanding of SaaS/Cloud Computing sales. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with cold calling, have a proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals, and be familiar with CRM software, preferably Salesforce Lightning and Engage.

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and converting them into qualified leads and opportunities through targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan to expand the company's customer base, cultivate your own account list, and generate business through proactive outreach to new customers.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs, and provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales Teams to implement targeted sales and marketing efforts and campaigns, and stay up-to-date with product launches and provide support to clients and the sales team.
  • Qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings with prospects and Business Development Manager or Sales Engineer, and supervise and support the team to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in SaaS/Cloud Computing Sales with a proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and have a strong understanding of the entire suite of Google Cloud products.
  • Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce Lightning and Engage, and Outreach experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to plan, pitch, and execute a sales strategy, and excellent phone skills, with a positive and energetic attitude.
