Job Title: Senior Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at the NHS. As a Senior Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services to patients and healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver, develop, and support clinical pharmacy services in various specialties within the pharmacy department on a rotational basis.
  • Work as a clinical pharmacist to ensure the safe, clinically, and cost-efficient use of medicines.
  • Participate in drug usage reviews, audits, and cost-efficiency programs.
  • Line manage and support more junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification at certificate level in clinical pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience working in hospital pharmacy.
  • Broad-based clinical experience.
  • Evidence of clinical audit/practice research.
  • Experience of training.
  • Experience of managing others.
