Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a key member of our Cardiothoracic Services, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Cardiac Device Therapy, Cardiac Catheter Lab, and Non-Invasive Diagnostics services.

Main Responsibilities

As an Advanced Cardiac Physiologist, you will be involved in a wide range of complex invasive and non-invasive procedures, including:

  • Cardiac Device follow-up clinics
  • Implantation of Injectable Loop recorders
  • Cardiac Catheterization procedures
  • Electrophysiology studies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
  • IBHRE or BHRS certification or currently working towards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Leadership skills and ability to supervise other staff
