About the Opportunity:

This site-based position reports directly to the Electrical Package Manager, developing and executing projects and tasks associated with the Jacobs Field Solutions Portfolio in Cumbria. Experience in managing Supervisors and Operatives is essential, along with the execution of Mechanical tasks in line with client requirements. In-depth knowledge of legislative, regulatory, quality, and environmental requirements relating to nuclear engineering projects is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to develop and define scope via constructability reviews;
  • Be visible in the workplace, leading by example, and demonstrating the standards set by the business;
  • Support the preparation of estimates and budgets;
  • Plan work activities and resources to meet task requirements safely and effectively;
  • Manage the On-Site delivery of Mechanical Tasks;

Essential:

  • SC Clearance;
  • NEC3 delivery experience and understanding of the CDM Regulations 2015;
  • HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or suitable site experience.
