We are recruiting for a highly skilled Account Manager to join Downtown Recruitment Ltd, a well-established manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be the main administrative point of contact with the customer, requiring excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

The role entails ensuring customer requests are answered promptly, arranging deals, and liaising with suppliers and departments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Negotiating agreements and coordinating with external partners
  • Communicating effectively with customers, senior management, and directors

The ideal candidate will possess experience in manufacturing environments and MRP business systems, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:15am to 5pm and Fridays from 8:30am to 1pm. Benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £29,000 depending on experience.
