About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Renewable Energy Connections Specialist to join our team at The Green Recruitment Company. As a key professional, you will play a crucial role in driving growth in the UK market by managing grid connection aspects of large-scale solar energy projects.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the grid connection aspects of projects from initial conception to planning submission and through transaction due diligence.
  • Designing, specifying, and budgeting substation and grid infrastructure equipment for project connections, leveraging expertise in power modeling software and multi-megawatt solar installations.
  • Collaborating with network operators and trade bodies to support renewable energy deployment and net-zero targets, contributing to a sustainable future.
  • Mentoring and sharing knowledge with less experienced team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Engaging with ICPs, TAs, and technical partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Reviewing technical standards and policy documents, implementing design and process improvements, and providing expert advice throughout project development.
  • Assisting with transaction due diligence, addressing grid-related queries and providing critical support to project stakeholders.

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £62,500 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
