We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Companion to join our team at City & County Healthcare Group. As a Care Companion, you will play a vital role in supporting local individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and self-worth.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing companionship and preventing loneliness through friendly interactions
  • Assisting with personal care, including all aspects of personal hygiene
  • Collecting prescriptions and providing medication reminders
  • Preparing tasty meals for our clients
  • Maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment
  • Assisting with mobility and ensuring safe transportation

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, compassionate, and positive attitude at all times
  • A responsible, dedicated, and flexible approach to your work

Competitive Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £12.90 per hour, plus paid mileage. Our benefits package includes enhanced occupational maternity and adoption pay, enhanced occupational paternity pay entitlement, death in service payment, pension scheme, benefits and well-being platform, 28 days annual leave (pro rata), cycle to work scheme, refer a friend scheme, blue light card eligibility, flexible hours, part-time and full-time opportunities, and access to our in-house app.
