Job Title: Consultant in Paediatric Radiology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Paediatric Radiology to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiology services to children and young people, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.

About the Role

This is a replacement, full-time Consultant post based at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC). We are looking for a general paediatric radiologist to join our team of 6 general paediatric radiologists in Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC) to meet increased demand on the service.

As a Consultant in Paediatric Radiology, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing secondary and tertiary paediatric imaging services
  • Developing a sub-specialty interest and contributing to the delivery of emergency paediatric imaging services
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinicoradiological meetings
  • Working closely with our neuroradiology colleagues from North Bristol to provide neuroimaging services

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Experience of working in a paediatric radiology department
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
