Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Controls Engineer with experience in PLC programming to work collaboratively with our teams to create control systems for machinery and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement PLC programs for automation systems.
  • Collaborate with teams to create control systems for machinery and processes.
  • Solve issues related to PLCs, electrical controls, and devices.
  • Connect PLC systems with other industrial systems for smooth operations.
  • Test and ensure PLC systems work properly before production use.
  • Prepare technical documents, including PLC programs and electrical schematics.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in controls engineering, particularly with PLC programming.
  • Familiarity with PLC platforms.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation systems.
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA systems is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
  • Familiarity with safety standards.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming software.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software is a plus.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
