Education Support Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to fill a Supply Teaching Assistant role. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and providing additional help to students in schools and SEN units. This position is ideal for those looking for flexible work arrangements, particularly students or individuals seeking to build their experience in childcare and education while earning a competitive salary.

About the Position:
This role involves providing additional support to students in schools and SEN units, covering for teaching assistants during sickness or last-minute gaps in staffing. You will be required to assist with lesson plans, supervise students during breaks, and help with administrative tasks. The pay rate for this role is dependent on experience and qualifications, with an estimated £12-15 per hour, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Good communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
• Availability at short notice and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
• Previous childcare experience, either inside or outside education (desirable but not essential)
• Appropriate qualifications and training for this role
