About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pattern Maker/CNC Operator to join our team at PAM Building, a leading supplier of cast iron products for building works. As a key member of our Pattern Making Department, you will play a crucial role in producing and maintaining our site pattern tooling to ensure our production plants have the correct patterns to produce quality castings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce new patterns arising from pattern development, liaising with our technical department to ensure accuracy and viability
  • Maintain existing core and pattern tooling including repairs and modifications
  • Promote continuous improvement in all areas of the plant
  • Set and operate CNC machines
  • Adhere to all safety policies and regulations, perform risk assessments and contribute to the development of a behavioural safety culture
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of pattern making
  • Ability to set and operate a CNC machine
  • GCSE Maths, English and Science or equivalent
  • Computer literate
  • Welding and braising experience would be an advantage
  • Experience of working with 2D and 3D drawings
