Project Manager - Water Sector

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in the water sector. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects in the water and wastewater industries.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring effective resource allocation and risk management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Oversee site personnel and ensure projects are executed efficiently.
  • Attend and contribute to internal and external progress reviews and meetings.
  • Handle commercial management and ensure adherence to contractual agreements.

Requirements:

  • Degree or HNC level qualification in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
  • Proven experience managing civil engineering projects, primarily in the water sector.
  • MEICA background in the water sector is desirable.
  • Extensive technical knowledge and responsibility for all civils site activities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts.
  • Pro-active communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
