Job Description
As our Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional veterinary care and treatment to a diverse range of animals. This will involve performing routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as needed, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with our dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care and treatment, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care, ensuring prompt and effective responses to patient needs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for each patient, supporting informed decision-making and continuity of care.
- Work closely with our veterinary nursing team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- Evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance patient outcomes and staff productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
- Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care, preferably in a similar setting.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.
