Role: Interim Finance Director

Finatal is seeking an experienced Finance Director to drive the company's M&A activity, focusing on Financial Due Diligence and integration of acquisitions, working closely with the CFO and Private Equity house.

This is a pivotal role in the company's ambitious buy-and-build strategy, with several deals in the pipeline. The successful candidate will lead the FP&A function, steering the business through its growth phase, and drive financial strategy and planning to ensure alignment with the PE house's long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the FP&A function, overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Drive financial strategy and planning, ensuring alignment with the PE house's value creation targets.
  • Collaborate closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, acting as a trusted business partner.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making across the business.
  • Potential to be part of the exit process, offering a chance to contribute to the final stages of this high-growth story.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as an FD in acquisitive, PE-backed businesses, preferably within the Hospitality sector.
  • Expertise in financial modelling, due diligence, integration, and leading FP&A teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with C-level executives and Private Equity investors.
