We are looking for a talented Learning Support Worker to join our team at a school near Skipton. As a Learning Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to children with special educational needs.

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Your key responsibilities will include supporting children with their learning, behavior, and personal development, as well as assisting teachers with planning learning activities.

You will also be required to communicate effectively with parents and carers, and contribute to the overall well-being of the school community. In addition, you will support children with their independence and confidence both inside and outside the classroom.

Our ideal candidate will have recent and relevant experience working with children and young people in an educational setting. You should also have experience working with children with SEN and SEMH needs, handling direct strong verbal language and extreme challenging behaviours.

A passion for education and the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people is essential. You should be comfortable with an adapted structure of learning based both indoors and outdoors.
