We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Client Care Assistant to join our team at Medivet Islington Liverpool Road. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client care and administrative support to our veterinary surgeons, nurses, and patient care assistants.
About the Role
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts will typically alternate between 8 am - 5 pm and 10 am - 7 pm, with 1 in 4 weekends required. You will be working as part of a close-knit team, supporting our clients and their pets, and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
As a Client Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and assisting clients, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is exceptional.
- Managing the practice diary, ensuring appointment availability aligns with best practice and available skillset.
- Triage emergency appointments, contacting clients to arrange alternative appointments where necessary.
- Processing repeat prescription order requests and ensuring online practice information is up-to-date.
- Being an advocate of the Medivet Healthcare Plan, completing relevant sign-up documentation with clients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent client-facing and reception skills.
- Experience of working as part of a team and building positive working relationships.
- Client care skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and be diplomatic when needed.
- Able to prioritize a range of tasks and own workload.
- Good numeracy skills, with the ability to manage payments and cash up.
