Behaviour Mentor | Primary School in Croydon

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our partner Primary School in Croydon and provide support to two pupils in Year 1 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support two children with non-verbal Autism, focusing on de-escalating challenging moments and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Develop strategies to help pupils regulate their behaviour and remain focused in class.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive environment where all children can thrive.
  • Empower and motivate pupils to reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Passion for education and SEND.
  • Previous experience working with SEND, ideally with non-verbal Autism.
  • Excellent communication skills, patience, and resilience.
  • A never-give-up attitude and a commitment to making a positive impact.
