About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a Primary School in South Gloucestershire. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young learners in the Reception Class.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning in a busy classroom setting, helping children with diverse needs
  • Safeguard children and foster their emotional well-being and social development
  • Assist with whole-class activities and lead small group interventions to accelerate student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers to create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment
  • Maintain a safe, positive learning space that encourages all learners to reach their potential
Requirements
  • Previous childcare or Teaching Assistant experience, preferably with an NVQ Level 3 Qualification
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect positively with children and adults
  • Proactive, can-do attitude and a commitment to the well-being and progress of every child
