Job Description

Nano Fibre UK is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Civils Engineer to join our team in the Spalding area. As a fast-growing company, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers, and we need enthusiastic and self-driven individuals to support us in this mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Civils work to support the delivery of our customer promise, including tracking and locating blockages in the UG system on the BT network.
  • Ensure risk assessments are carried out and all processes are followed regarding permits.
  • Reinstate and make good groundworks, and possess experience using heavy machinery, jackhammers, Stihl saws, and wacker plates.
  • Provide effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills, a focus on teamwork, and brilliant customer service.
  • Prioritize tasks, find the best customer solutions, and work irregular hours and overtime to achieve our customer service targets.
  • Be medically fit and able to carry out a physical job in all weathers.
  • Work in teams or alone to meet our SLA KPIs set by our partners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years working in a similar role.
  • Accreditations:
  • NRSWA 01 – 08
  • LA – CAT and Genny
  • SA004 – Abrasive Wheels
  • SAOO2 – PIA Underground Safety (preferred)
  • S7 – PIA Sub-Duct and Cable Installation (preferred)
