Climate Data Science Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Climate Data Science Consultant to join our team at Allen & York Ltd. The ideal candidate will have expertise in geospatial analysis, artificial intelligence, and climate change impacts.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global organisation, providing risk and assurance services to a variety of clients. As a Climate Data Science Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering complex data-driven insights and solutions to support our clients' sustainability and ESG goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement geospatial analysis and machine learning models to support climate change impact assessments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver data-driven solutions for sustainability and ESG projects
  • Provide expert advice on climate change impacts and geospatial analysis to clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in climate science, geospatial analysis, and artificial intelligence
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Masters or Doctoral degree in Climate Science, Environmental Science, Data Science, Geospatial Analysis, or a related field
  • Proven experience in Python programming, geospatial analysis, climate modelling, and machine learning
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex data-driven insights and solutions
