Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £33,000-£35,000 per annum, with the potential to earn up to £42,000-£60,000 per year including overtime. The package also includes 28 days annual leave, laptop, company vehicle, fuel card, company credit card, company pension scheme, training and development opportunities, occasional overnight stays and overtime paid at various rates.

Job Description

As an electromechanical engineer, your primary responsibilities will include attending breakdowns, servicing and performing planned maintenance on industrial scale compactor systems within the waste management industry. You will also use manual hand tools, electrical hand tools, lifting equipment and hot working tools to carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical fault finding and hydraulic system repair tasks.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with experience in electrical, mechanical or field-based engineering, preferably with knowledge of hydraulic systems, mechanical fault finding and repair. A good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge and previous experience using electrical and mechanical tools are essential. Any experience surrounding MIG/TIG welding is advantageous but not necessary.
