About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Debt Recovery Specialist to join our busy accounts team at our head office in Yate, Bristol.
The successful candidate will have previous credit control experience or customer service background with a keen eye for detail. This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident to deal with uncomfortable situations that may arise with clients who owe money and keep a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Chase outstanding debts by telephone, email, and letters, working closely with customers to arrange payment plans and/or payments.
- Investigate and resolve credit control queries and invoice discrepancies, generating reports to plan daily and weekly call schedules.
- Assist with monthly statement runs and provide support to other members of the accounts team as required.
- Carry out general and ad-hoc administration duties as requested, such as maintaining accurate records and responding to queries from colleagues and clients.

- A competitive estimated salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
