Job Summary
Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced administrator to join our Frailty Virtual Ward Team. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the service.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal administration and secretarial support to the frailty virtual ward team. This includes maintaining accurate records, managing referrals, and ensuring effective communication with patients, carers, and other professionals. You will also be required to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the frailty virtual ward team, including data management, filing, and document preparation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies.
  • Manage referrals, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and other professionals, both verbally and in writing.
  • Prioritize workload, meeting deadlines and managing competing demands.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve shared goals.


Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
  • A good general standard of education, including Word and Excel skills.
  • Typing proficiency at RSA Level or equivalent experience.
  • Proven clerical experience, with the ability to demonstrate administrative knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work flexibly, prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience of working within an office environment, preferably in a healthcare setting.


Salary
The salary for this role is £25,714 - £31,383 per annum, depending on experience.
