We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Inspector - Regulatory Oversight to join our team at Reed Professional Services. This is a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act (ASPA), working closely with the regulated community to ensure their understanding of licensing requirements and compliance with ASPA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for prioritizing and processing casework on a day-to-day basis, guiding the regulated community on licensing requirements and compliance with ASPA, and making informed decisions on licence applications under ASPA. They will also conduct on-site visits, audits, documentation reviews, and interviews to assess licence holders' compliance.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have full registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) or the General Medical Council (GMC), minimum CTC Clearance, and knowledge of biomedical and life sciences research. You should also have experience in data collection, integration, and reporting, as well as proven ability in policy development, implementation, and assessment.

This is a competitive salary position (£60,000 - £80,000 per annum), offering a flexible home-based role with the opportunity to contribute to the ethical oversight of scientific research. If you are a motivated individual with excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
