Job Role:
Senior Climate Risk Consultant.
Location: London or Surrey.
We are seeking a skilled professional to drive Corporate Sustainable ESG change and make a lasting impact. The successful candidate will join a team of specialist Corporate ESG consultants, Net Zero specialists, and Climate risk Consultants. You will primarily be responsible for advising clients on the risks and opportunities related to Physical Climate Change and the transition to a low-carbon economy. Key responsibilities include identifying and assessing risks, advising best-practice governance arrangements, conducting climate scenario analysis, financial quantification of transition climate risks, and drafting disclosures. Additionally, you will support clients in setting Net Zero strategies, targets, and developing decarbonization roadmaps. Strong understanding of financial modelling, P&L, balance sheet, forecasting finances with climate sensitivity and scenario modelling is required. Fluency in one or more European languages would be highly desirable.

Requirements:
  • Experience of performing climate transition risk analysis within a consultancy or similar environment.
  • 2+ years consulting experience in climate strategies, climate risk analysis, financial accounting, GHG accounting, data management, internal carbon pricing, carbon credits, removals, climate target setting, and transition planning.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Estimated Salary: £55 000 - £65 000/annum.
