- Qualifications: CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualified accountant.
- Experience: Previous experience working at a senior level within a commercial sector, with a strong track record of financial leadership and business growth.
- Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with finance systems, including Sage, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leading and developing the Finance team.
- Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Financial planning, forecasting, benchmarking, and analysis with regular reporting to the CEO.
- Budgeting, modelling, and developing business-appropriate financial plans.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and fiduciary duties.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the board, executive team, and external auditors.
- Driving process improvement and efficiency within the finance function and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Developing a Finance Business Partnering approach, ensuring the provision of appropriate financial information and support to the executive and management teams.
- Providing strategic financial advice to the executive team on acquisitions and other business development initiatives.
- Involvement in wider operational projects and innovations.
