Job Description

The HR Generalist will report directly to the Group HR Manager and be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and legislation. This role requires a high level of autonomy and the ability to work independently, making decisions that align with company objectives.

  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HR policies and procedures that comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Payroll Administration: Process monthly payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payment to employees.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Lead recruitment efforts, including advertising job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions
  • Valid UK driving license (essential for site visits)
