Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring close cooperation with internal customers to deliver exceptional customer care and early involvement. You'll also manage a portfolio of suppliers, negotiate price increase requests, and contribute to the implementation and usage of globally defined methods and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure close cooperation with internal customers to deliver exceptional customer care and early involvement.
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers, including negotiation of price increase requests, preparation of RFQ packs, and conduct of negotiations for medium purchasing volumes.
- Contribute to the implementation and usage of globally defined methods and processes to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance.
- Support supplier management processes, including qualification, selection, evaluation, development, and classification.
- Update supplier evaluation systems to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency and high procurement quality.
- Maintain records of all documentation, adherence to online purchasing and contract management systems.
- Perform special projects as needed in addition to assigned purchasing responsibilities.
- Strong SAP experience.
- Outstanding Excel skills.
- 2+ years of experience in direct procurement.
- Bachelor's degree.
